Account Settings
Your UniFlow account controls your login credentials, subscription plan, billing, and profile information. This guide covers everything you need to manage your account.
Creating an Account
- Visit the Sign Up page or click "Sign Up" in the desktop app
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Check your inbox for a verification email
- Click the verification link to activate your account
- Log in to UniFlow
You can also sign up using Google SSO for a faster onboarding experience.
Logging In
Desktop App
- Launch UniFlow
- Click Log In in the top-right corner of the title bar
- Enter your email and password (or use Google SSO)
- Your courses and data will sync automatically after login
Website
- Visit uniflowstudy.com/login
- Enter your credentials
- Access your account dashboard, billing, and settings
Profile
Your user profile includes:
- Display Name — Shown in the app and on your account page
- Email — Your login email (also used for notifications)
- Avatar — Profile picture from your Google account (if using SSO) or a default avatar
- Account Created Date — When you first signed up
To view your profile in the desktop app, click your avatar in the top-right corner of the title bar.
Subscription Plans
UniFlow offers four plans:

Upgrading Your Plan
- Visit the Pricing page
- Select the plan that fits your needs
- Complete the checkout process
- Features are activated immediately — no app restart required
Viewing Your Current Plan
- Desktop app: Click your avatar > view your current plan badge
- Website: Visit your Account page
Usage Tracking
Monitor your usage from the account page:
- AI conversations used this month vs. your plan limit
- Transcription time remaining
- Storage usage
Billing
Payment Methods
UniFlow accepts payment through our secure checkout provider. Supported methods include major credit and debit cards.
Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can see your next billing date on the Billing page.
Canceling Your Subscription
- Go to Account Settings
- Navigate to the billing section
- Click Cancel Subscription
- You'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
Refund Policy
UniFlow offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. See the Refund Policy for complete details.
Redemption Codes
If you have a redemption code (e.g., from a promotion or educational institution):
- Go to Billing > Redeem
- Enter your redemption code
- The associated plan or credits are applied to your account immediately
Password Management
Changing Your Password
- Visit the Account page on the website
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password and new password
- Save changes
Resetting a Forgotten Password
- Go to the Login page
- Click Forgot password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Data & Privacy
Your Data
- Local data: Course content, documents, and transcripts are stored on your device
- Cloud data: Account info, synced courses, and AI chat history are stored in Supabase with row-level security
- Encryption: All cloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Deleting Your Account
To delete your UniFlow account and all associated data:
- Contact support@uniflowstudy.com
- Request account deletion
- We'll process your request and confirm when complete
All your cloud data, including synced courses, chat history, and transcripts, will be permanently removed.
Data Export
You can export your data at any time:
- Documents — Export from the Document Editor as DOCX or PDF
- Transcripts — Export from the Transcription Library
- Course data — Available in your local storage folder (accessible via Settings)
Multi-Device Sync
Your UniFlow account syncs across devices:
- Courses — Synced via cloud metadata; re-import on new devices for full content
- Chat history — Available on all devices
- Transcriptions — Synced automatically
- Documents — Stored locally per device (cloud sync for documents coming soon)
Log in with the same account on each device to enable sync.
Tips
- Check your usage regularly — Monitor AI conversation and transcription usage to avoid hitting limits mid-semester
- Upgrade before exam season — Higher-tier plans provide more AI conversations when you need them most
- Use SSO — Google Sign-In is faster and you never have to remember a password
- Keep your email updated — Password resets and notifications go to your account email
